Not enough care for employees

Pros

The people are wonderful to work with, they do a good job of choosing people.

Cons

Too much focus on selling and not enough on helping people who work there actually do their job well. The owner has been accused of harassment multiple times and people just sweep it under the rug. There's a lot of turnover...and it makes sense why.

This review is very concerning on a number of levels. Publicly I can say we read each of these and review with the leadership team.

Pros

Pay was pretty good, somewhat flexible work environment, some of the clients were cool, smart group of people

Cons

Unreasonable work load for majority of the team. Management constantly focused on selling new business before making sure we have the team ready to handle it. Lots of turnover and issues with retention. Insurance was expensive and not good

Sorry to hear about the work load. We have improved our systems around tracking hours and bandwidth forecasting. From a data perspective, turnover is actually below industry benchmarks but we did have a month with a couple people who made career changes. Of course, we hold ourselves to higher standards -- and won't stop trying to improve. I should also state we are not shy about the focus on growing the agency. It is a focus but not at the expense of our current client base or the employee experience. “In this world you're either growing or you're dying so get in motion and grow.” ― Lou Holtz And growth doesn't just mean new business. We have goals around growing disciplines, systems, as well as revenue. I think it's important to note that our clients and employees benefit from growth. Thank you for your time at eAccountable.

Pros

eAccountable allows anyone who walks in the door to work with a team of highly skilled individuals. It's a work-hard, play-hard mentality here, with high growth upside both personally and professionally. You will learn not just about your area of expertise, but have the ability to expand your learnings across all digital channels - which in my experience is very rare at an agency. This is a place that thrives on communication, creativity, and execution. Out-of-the-box ideas are always welcomed. Your role within the team can vary, but being a team player is key. Negative attitudes and a lack of motivation are spotted quickly. Meanwhile having a positive attitude, being eager to learn and grow, and going "above and beyond" are quickly recognized and valued. If you really want to be successful in your career, eAccountable is absolutely a long-term place to make it happen.

Cons

As someone who's been on the team a while, I've seen plenty of people come and go. The biggest issues I see people have is the workload and the lack of structure. Both of these I understand. As a growing agency, sometimes we have to put in extra hours to satisfy clients or grow the business. We don't shy away from extra work if it means better results. Like most things - if you don't like what you do - then putting in extra hours is very undesirable. That being said, hours arent tracked to see "who works the most" - hours are tracked to ensure client profitability. Getting work done takes precedence over the number of hours worked. The second piece, the lack of structure, is something people either thrive in or find challenging. Again, because we're growing, we say yes to projects that need to be learned on the fly. Sometimes the best way to learn is simply by doing. A general lack of day-to-day structure allows some people to carve out their own path and run with it, while for others it can become too complex and overwhelming.
