The problem is that much of the leadership has tunnel vision and does not rely on the talent they bring in to make necessary changes in order to excel to the next level. That is not to say that the organization as a whole needs a revamp, but if they don't enhance or shift strategy and tactics in necessary departments (sales, for one), the business will crumble.
They just experienced a 10% company layoff credited to cash flow issues - not comforting for current employees. A lot of the management brought in has had mediocre success at mediocre companies. Again, not to say a lot of the management doesn't have the right vision, but a majority lack the experience to really drive success. A ton of recruited top tech talent have left on their own due to this concern. They also have had turnover in sales leadership, with 4 leadership changes in under two years.
There also isn't a formal annual review of path forward plan - HUGE red flag. I shouldn't need to explain why.
