Pros

1) There are some really great and intelligent people that work here. 2) Remote work

Cons

When you join a start-up, there’s always the expectation that things will change a lot. However, hireEZ is not just a culture of change. There’s also toxic leadership, the CEO trusting the wrong people (Like Marketing and SDR leaders who are terrible), a faulty platform, and overall incompetence. The product hasn’t truly changed in years and the CEO has no idea how behind we are with innovation compared to the market. In less than 2 years, LinkedIn caught up to us incorporating AI and email automation, which was our only real selling point against them aside from being less expensive. We don’t have much upside anymore. Also, there’s been several layoffs and the only group that hasn’t been touched is Marketing. It goes to show you the CEO favors the wrong people. Every month, there’s some kind of restructuring to the process which drastically affects customer satisfaction and retention. hireEZ is only built to be a MM platform and will never be truly be ENT until we really push for the changes our customers want (Texting, good data, true CRM Ranking, etc.) Team morale has been down for a while and don’t expect that to change because people are being cut monthly or quarterly. I do not suggest working here unless you’re besties with the head of marketing or want to be a work slave.

Pros

- Remote. - Not micromanaged. - Product is good. - Company was the best place to work when I started and there is a chance they could be that again.

Cons

- Constantly changing commission structure (done on purpose so you don't get paid for your work). - Inexperienced managerial team. They are incredibly out of touch and you will have to ignore some of their really bad advice if you want to be successful. They have paid for some very questionable tools that have not helped since implementation. Senior leadership seems like they are not the right fit and are the sole factor keeping the company from being successful. - There is a widespread feeling you will be laid off at any moment. - Very poor marketing team to assist sales. Our competitors know this and have used it to get ahead in the market.
