Pros

Great work environment with flexible scheduling.

Cons

Slightly understaffed and a lack of clear direction from the management team. Not a lot of room for growth due to company size.

Pros

Work from home and work with some really talented, very young people

Cons

Pay doesn't match the other agencies in town and management had to be part of a crisis meeting with the whole team before they budged on this Leadership is very poor on HR - firings were handled in an immature way, with managers trash talking employees to their colleagues in staff meetings. Many fired employees reported receiving no prior warnings and being blindsided. This is ethically bankrupt. Management more concerned with protecting their favorite employees who have stagnated, rather than encouraging growth and development. Turnover at the bottom level is therefore high. Very poor sales team leads to workers having to work with unfeasible budgets.

Thanks for taking the time to share this. I’m really sorry to hear that your experience at iBec didn’t feel supportive or fair—that’s never what we want for anyone on our team. While receiving criticism is always difficult, your feedback is valuable. It reminds us how important it is to stay aligned in our intentions and our impact, and to continue evolving in how we support our team. Over the past year, we’ve made a number of changes our team is proud of—rolling out EOS to bring more clarity and structure, piloting an Early Friday work week to support better balance, and putting more intention behind how we handle compensation, team dynamics, and communication. These efforts reflect our commitment to creating a workplace that people feel good about being part of. We believe in fostering a culture that’s positive—but not at the expense of honesty or listening. We care deeply about our people and are committed to making iBec a place where both individuals and the company can grow. Thank you for being part of our story, and I genuinely wish you the very best moving forward. – Becky McKinnell, Founder & CEO
