Pros

Employees. For the many years I have worked for iPromo, I have deeply grown attachment to the devoted employees. You can definitely grow friendship in such a small place and make the work environment workable in your favor.

Cons

I will have to agree with all t he negative reviews posted either recently or previously. I have not seen the company grow since 2011, so many educated, faithful, hardworking people have been hired, fired, let go, and/or resigned since then. Undervalued - I personally was a victim of working for a good amount of years, learned and grew with the changes of the company, 6 years I went from the bottom and stayed at the bottom, after learning 3 different kinds of CRM systems, placed in 3 different roles, help train Sales and Coordinators and stayed hours of overtime. I am not the only victim, there are few others who I have seen stayed late working, adapting to new roles, (multi-tasking from one Job Title to another) Underpaid - Coincides with devalued. I have seen and witness several employees who goes over and beyond their duties without a raise or any recognition. After going above my supervisor/manager, another manager from a different department who had no idea of what I did helped push the raise after 5 years of service. Let's say the $ amount was pretty much offensive. The yearly Employee Reviews are a joke and/or lucky to get one that year. In order to prove you even work and had any progress from the previous year, management will request for you to set up a detailed graph with numbers of the progress and how much you contributed to the growth of the company before considering any offensive $ amount of raise. Communication - employee of 30 or less, you would think the communication on training, processing, changes, etc, we would be on top of it ,, Nope. Unless its GOSSIP you won't know the latest updates on new innovative ideas or any crazy changes on products website or employees resigning.

Pros

The only good thing about this company are some of the people and managers who understand this industry and care about their employees and want to help them succeed.

Cons

Don't believe the 5 star reviews. We're given incentives or paid and asked to write them. The owner has lost it. Unethical. Changes and withholds our commission last minute. Hasn't refund customers their money for close to a year. Tells his staff they need to work overtime and weekends without offering additional compensation. Mandated people worked 7 days a week for 15+ hours during covid. Cut 401k benefits. Insurance is bad. No parental leave. Leo, You have failed this company and your people. It's so terrible that all your best people ones that truly cared and worked themselves into the ground for this company, are all getting ready to leave or have resigned already. And while you may be "bummed for a day and then get over it" as you said to us on the company call, the rest of us are truly devasted and heartbroken. Because despite you, we built a great thing here, worked hard to build up processes and a foundation and built an invaluable team where we all feel like family to each other. And that's the worst part about this, is not only did you fail us, but you're causing us to all split up and we're devasted by that. All the hard work we invested, all the personal and family time we sacrificed. We're personally impacted and personally feel the remifications of your failures and are heartbroken. This affects us on a personal level, our mental well being, and our families. You had a responsibility to us all, and you don't care about that. All you had to do was let the people you hired actually lead, and get out of the way. You don't understand this business so let the people who do, grow it for you. All you care is how much work you can get out of us for the least amount of money. It's immoral. You are holding on to client's money and not refunding clients for close to a year. It's unethical. You have changed our commission days before it's due to pay, and withheld our stretch goal commission for months. It's breaking our employee contracts . We don't have the right resources in place because you dont understand what we need and you're screwing our customers over. You act and run this business in the most unethical illegal way and despite you we have great people who wanted to make this company better and you have ruined that, for you, and for us all.

Company management is a joke

Pros

Company has a huge potential, but not with the way current CEO is running it. There are some nice people in the company, but most do not stick around for long.

Cons

Current CEO and the owner, Leo has no idea what he is doing. Looks like he has good way of bringing good CEO material candidates, but they all do not last long. In the time I have been with the company, we had like three or five CEOs and they all ran. How I hear it, they could not all work with Leo. Morale is low in the company. Sales declining. No management in place. No proper training. High sale expectations. Hire people Monday and fire whole groups within few weeks. The list goes on. Bottom line declining company and no one is doing anything about it.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. At iPromo, we value all of our employees and their feedback. This post specifically reflects events that occurred within the company over a year ago. Our leadership team always provides a thorough evaluation of our business before making any decisions. At the time, it was essential for us to respond to changing industry and customer needs and this lead to the decisions that were made. We’ve currently hired 13 new account executives who are trained on sales, processes, and products initially and then receive on the job training throughout their careers at iPromo. We believe these changes better position iPromo to meet our customers’ needs and to achieve our growth plans for the present and in the future. We will continue to passionately support our employees and deliver for our clients.
