      Disengaged Senior Management and Toxic work Environment

      Pros

      Nice new corporate headquarters excellent benefits decent pay

      Cons

      CEO is just waiting to cash in so he's already half way out the door. Strategic investor (FP) behind the recent job losses without giving much thought. The popular ones stayed while the worker bees were given the pink slip. The employees and contractors work very hard yet only their senior and executive management are rewarded. This is the main reason for the toxic work environment within the company. Such a shame because the company offers good product/services but senior management from the old bell system still act like it's 1992.

      Pros

      Co-workers are for the most part very friendly and capable. Location is easy to get to from Central or North Jersey.

      Cons

      Upper management bullies and abuses employees, and HR and executives look the other way. Morale is in the tank and people are constantly talking about leaving. Work-life balance does not exist. Prepare to work nights, weekends, holidays and vacations. Blatant favoritism and discrimination in hiring and promotions. Executives more interested in playing politics and empire building than the good of their teams. The company has staked its entire future on the NPAC contract, which it’s in danger of losing. Constant rumors about the company being sold, which nobody will address directly. Absentee CEO that is completely disconnected from rank and file employees. Serious issues with products and morale are ignored or pushed aside.

      Not a place for young people

      Pros

      Flexible work hours. WFH usually permitted.

      Cons

      Poor salaries. Bonuses mostly paid to upper management while the rest get the crumbs. Huge layoffs are coming in NPAC. Haven't gotten any new projects in last 3 years. Not a place for young people who want to build their careers. Better go somewhere else.
