      Good work culture, not too great salary

      Pros

      Extensive training provided, work isn't expected to be taken home and you can leave at the end of the work day. Flexible start time after the first 3 months (just need to clock in your 9 hours). One hour lunch break, not strictly monitored. No micromanaging so far.

      Cons

      Low starting salary. Work is a bit dry. Not sure if culture might change in a few months.

      Good people, nice facilities, moderate benefits

      Cons

      Poor management, insane nepotism, and respect for staff from some upper-level employees. No real expectations, but very real consequences to (even other people’s) performance

      Outiside Sales is changing - For the worse

      Pros

      Top notch products across the board. Most parts are stock, so lead time is not an issue. When mistakes are made by Igus, they will spare no expense to fix the problem and make the customer happy. Excellent car program. Excellent exposure to all industries, selling product is fun and customers like you.

      Cons

      Pay is extremely low, really low New Salesforce software takes up so much time and is used to micromanage you. Little room for advancement 401k is marginal at best 3% pay at the end of the year, so if you leave early you get nothing. Mass exodus of all salespeople. OTS (entry level), TSM (mid level) and RSM (Regional manager of OTS and TSM). Key inside technical people are leaving as well. If you take this job, stick around for 2 years and use your experience and contacts to find a better job.

      Thank you for your feedback! igus just wanted to clarify there was no "mass exodus" of sales people. Like every company faced 6 months ago with the way the economy was/is, there was a national increase in turnover and more open jobs than people to fill them. We also have 100/422 employees that have been with igus for 10-30 years and did not "find a better job after two years."
