Pros

Very diverse automation environment. Friendly and cooperative coworkers. Potential for gaining learning experience with PLCs, robotics and vision systems.

Cons

They demand long hours (11 hour days as a standard) and weekend work. They use a standardized PLC program for use on all new equipment that stifles programming creativity. PPE for equipment is given to some without communicating the need to others exposed to the same equipment.

Pros

Interesting projects, generally good people at the engineering and machine building level that want to make this a great place to work. Competitive pay and benefits. HR group actually cares for employees personal well being, which is very rare.

Cons

Old executive management group was a joke. New executive management is not any better. Long term strategy changes week to week. Finger pointing is their management tool of choice. Promotions come easy even if one doesn't do anything to deserve them, while they will hang you the moment they THINK you've done something wrong. Long hours, little praise.
