Pros

none, nyet, zilch, nada, zero.

Cons

Well, everything is a joke around here, they don't pay you, they don't care if you work or not because they have a exploit. Free labour for 3 months and then fire, or don't pay the employee leaves and then they hire again. Easy as breeze. There are four co-founders none of them can speak english, know management, can't speak a single sentence without abusing, speak like teenagers, although they are middle aged. And last they are a dropouts and failures in their field, so they have started this design company, where they don't have a single designer on board but they hire designers.

Pros

Free coffee to make you go through hell of the day. I did not find any pros to work at this place

Cons

This startup is based on money hungry people which hires people false lies and hopes given at time of interview. I will evaluate company on three basis 1. Learning opportunity: Well this company have lowest amount of helpful people. If you try to take help from others if you don't know certain aspects then they will report to your lead and then directly to the CEO of the company. If you take your time to learn something then you will be pointed out. You cannot take any initiative on your own. Ohh if you think you want to join because you want to learn then this company is not worth it. No opportunity. 2. Colleagues: You can find the bully and two faced people here. After a week you can get to understand they are not nice people. They will give you destructive criticism. Your lead will unnecessarily shout on you. You will not be able to understand what you can improve in your design. Well your colleague will report your every problem in your design to lead and then this loop follows. It will make you depressed and anxious. 3. Bad management: If your lead is not able to handle pressure and shouts on you then how you think you will cope with the stress put on you. Well a person who is just 2 year experienced cannot be a lead and if he is then remember anyone cannot be lead because they worked with company long enough. Another thing. They had very bad past 8-10 months before which directly reflects how they handles things now. Note : Many people who left or removed from company were due to depression and anxiety caused in work life. Well I had to refer to psychiatrist to feel better. Also, If this company hires 10 employee then only 2 remains after 3-6 month period. Please see the review are only provide by company's current employee.

Hi ex team member, we are sorry to hear your experience. However some of the facts stated are incorrect. At Onething you get frequent opportunities to learn and grow. You have to grasp them and not let them pass. People are responsible for the work they assign and the leads have to ensure that they manage people and tasks accordingly. Also we are a company that does not see your experience but your attitude at things and hence you might find people with less experience might be doing great tasks. Onething's attrition is one of the lower than industry standards and we are proud of it. People with experience in working in teams and and collaborative approach do great stuff here. Unfortunately people with limited exposure to work with fellow designers and lack of collaboration intent struggle at any studio. It's a wrong fact to quote that any of our existing and ex employees has any anxiety issue because of environment. As far as we know you had anxiety and depression issues from your last job and we helped you get out of it and let you work at Onething despite such issues. You might have had a one of bad experience however stating it in this manner is utterly unprofessional. We wish you good luck in your future endeavours. Thanks Team Onething.
