Good company, but in some cases bad communication
Pros
Amazing perks, cool projects, interesting events, lots of things can be done on company expenses (company events, conferences etc.). Focus on togetherness, meaning you will definitely see your colleagues within the calendar year if you are physically able to travel. Free Work from home budget to kit out your office space and really make you feel like you are at home
Cons
There are a couple of dissapointments: There was a salary cap at the start of 2023, just 6 months after I joined. I can understand, market crash because of scary headlines, but it meant that money I had planned on for living at the end of my probation didn't get added to my salary, yet significant hires were going on all year in the background Also during my probation I tried to express interest in a different role, maybe this was too soon, IDK. Still, I had a a meeting about it with the head of department, and contact with HR. I found out too late that the role closed and I was supposed to apply via the careers website, and written interest was not enough.
