useless HR

Pros

cool competitions, great buildings, awesome events and good location, on the whole the people are friendly

Cons

HR do nothing, they ignore mobbing and the good of the employee and stay out of any difficult situations. you will only hear from them if you are badly parked. even for hiring they are pretty useless, they are kind of the running joke for the employees as they let down the company. it is for this reason, UEFA does not feature in great places to work as fundamental HR issues aren't tackled.

Pros

Well-known "organization", salaries are market average, working hours are quite okay, offices and location are outstanding- directly at the lake, new buildings, well equipped offices

Cons

Professional development rather low, very political, quite often not very meritocratic- politics goes over performance, whether or not to make a career in UEFA mainly depends on who you know and who has an interest in promoting you, employs a lot of temp staff, HR support and organization is not very well.
