Cloud Solution Engineer salaries in Singapore

Has anyone pivoted from management consulting into pre-sales / solution consulting / solution engineering in tech (e.g., Solution Engineer at Salesforce, Solutions Consultant at Service Now or Adobe)? Were you able to credibly position your transferable skills? Did you have to start at entry level, or could you come in at a more senior band? And does hands-on experience with the specific platform give a real edge in the process?

I’ve been in consulting for 10 years doing SAP implementations. Really trying to get out and get my foot in any door away from SAP and consulting. Any suggestions on what kind of roles to look for? In the past Amazon interviewed me for Sr. TPM role and now Google reached for a Technical Account Manager role. But so far only got the Google callback. Please help with any advice! 🙏🏽 applied to almost 40-50 ish roles in 3 weeks now.
