Our team members in Valencia joined together for a special afternoon with their families and colleagues... and the real stars of the day were, without a doubt, the kids. With fun painting activities and quality time together, it was a meaningful way to connect and celebrate the people who support us every day.
Thank you to everyone who joined our recent Town Hall at our Madrid office, joined virtually by colleagues in Valencia and Barcelona. We welcomed our Founder and CEO, Peter Hughes, who congratulated the teams on their progress and achievements over 2025. Protecting biodiversity at Silvermine Nature Reserve. đż Team members from our Cape Town office joined a three-hour volunteering initiative at the Sunbird Centre. Together, they worked to remove invasive alien plant species, which threaten indigenous biodiversity - an especially vital effort following recent fires. Weâre proud to support the vital work of Silvermine Nature Reserve in restoring and safeguarding the natural environment of Table Mountain.
Our senior team in London welcomed BelEve and their mentees for an unforgettable evening, launching a mentoring partnership that will empower young women across the UK to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills. What started as a panel on breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry quickly turned into a lively roundtable, full of honest questions, shared experiences, and actionable career insights. Next year, mentees will be paired with our team, with mentors using their volunteering days to guide and inspire - the perfect way to give back while shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
Your great ideas deserve great delivery. What does it really mean to âpresent with impactâ? Our New York Womenâs Accelerator Network explored this question with Alma Rodriguez-Piscitello, member of our New York SteerCo, at our latest event. Alma shared insights that resonated deeply with our audience. Hereâs one takeaway moment: âPresence isnât about having the most control in the room. Itâs about letting go just enough to make real connection possible. No one remembers every word we say, but they do remember how we make them feel.â Want to join any of our Womenâs Accelerator Networks across London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, or New Zealand? Coming together for a shared purpose - driving positive change with Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro. This Thanksgiving, our New York team turned a day of service into a day of comfort and care for families staying at Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park. Through our global Volunteering Program, every employee receives two paid days to support causes that matter to them. For Serena Wong, Ronald McDonald House was a personal choice - a place that provides vital housing and meals to families with children undergoing cancer treatment or serious illness. From one small home founded over 50 years ago, Ronald McDonald House has grown to 1,032 programs across 62 countries, providing 2.8 million overnight stays in 2024 and saving families $678 million in lodging and meal costs. The day before Thanksgiving, our team prepared a homemade brunch for 50-60 Ronald McDonald House residents, sharing food, warmth, and a sense of community. A huge thank you to: Serena Wong - for leading coordination, planning the menu, managing approvals, and sourcing supplies. Michele Colon - for supporting communication and securing budget approval Umair Khan - for designing our volunteer t-shirt and QR code Karen De Lama, Andy Fung, John Medina, Christopher Simek, and Michael Zingalli - for their hands-on support preparing and serving the meal
