"I can always teach technology, but the sparkle in the eyes must come from them." Roee Licht, UFED Group Leader "I'm Roee, and I've spent the last 12 years as part of Cellebrite. Today I lead the UFED group, responsible for the initial connection of our technology to certain phones and for activating the advanced capabilities of Cellebrite according to the customer's needs. Bottom line? Our group develops the physical device that connects to the phone and extracts information that will eventually become forensic evidence. I started my journey here after my service in the 8200 Intelligence Division. I was looking for an agile, action-oriented place and didn't want to get pulled into my "comfort zone." So, after working in several startups - I arrived here. To this day, I remember my first day and the surprise of discovering people working at the same place for so many years. Twelve years have passed since then, and suddenly it's the most obvious thing: everything is alive, everything moves, and dynamism is the game's name.
Today, more than ever before, we’re standing up together to fight violence against women. Almost one year ago, we partnered with SafeUP - Women's Safety Net, a smart Israeli startup that established a social network to help women and girls feel safer 24/7. The connection was instant once we realized that there’s another company that shares our goal of making the world a safer place. Fast forward to 2022. Just recently, we started a campaign to recruit volunteers internally so that women working at Cellebrite could be trained by SafeUp to become guardians in the SafeUp community. The way it works is so simple and so amazing: When a member of the SafeUP community feels unsafe, with the touch of a button she can connect to the three guardians who are closest in proximity to her; guardians who will jump on a video or audio call with her, and even come to physically escort her (and in some cases, they may even contact the police to arrive at the scene). "I couldn't believe that I received this gift for my day-to-day life – to be the best version of myself" That’s what we heard from one of our delighted Cellebrite people. Although we run lots of training sessions and workshops during the year that we usually don't share – this one we had to 😉 Yesterday 42 of our people finished a 3-day workshop that dealt with the most important thing of all – with themselves. The "self-leadership" workshop by Synergy Business Associates focuses on enhancing personal impact, productivity, and well-being, which nowadays is more significant than ever before. We can't wait for the next time 😍
Our people in the UK met last week for an experiential activity at a high-tech pace - that means extremely fast! The heart rate rose, the competitiveness is at its peak, and it seems to us that they are still talking about the victories in the corridor 😊
Our CEO Yossi Carmil on "20-Minute Leaders" “The value you bring to police forces contributes to the personal security of each of us.” We were fascinated 🤩 Watch here >
Four months ago, after a long battle with ALS, we said goodbye to the late Iddan Givon, who was a Cellebrite employee until his last day. In addition to being an appreciated and loved employee & manager, Iddan was a tennis coach who lived for the game from a young age, so last Friday we chose to honor his memory and held a special tennis tournament in collaboration with the NETWORK community NetWork.Tlv. The tournament took place in the presence of Iddan's family members, company employees, and their families. Thanks to all participants for an emotional day!
A few weeks ago, 14 of our researchers from 4 different countries went to an innovative conference in Paris. During the days of the conference, not only did we learn fascinating things, got to know other colleagues, and were exposed to other fields of activity, But we also met with our French team, and it was an opportunity for them to meet themselves - because in practice most of them are in different parts of France, and they don't get to meet each other on a daily basis And together it was great fun!
