Housing instability touches every part of a person’s life, including their health, employment, and safety. The new Grinnell Empowerment Command Center, an extension of the Housing Command Center in Des Moines, is now open to support families with critical care, housing assistance, and other essential resources. This work is made possible through a partnership between the Centene Foundation, Iowa Total Care, and local community organizations.
We’re proud to share that our CEO Sarah M. London has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare 2025. This achievement reflects both her leadership within the industry and among the CenTeam, which is dedicated to improving health in the communities we serve.
At Centene, we’re fortunate to work alongside people who embody what service truly means. On Veterans Day, we honor the veterans on our teams for their service to our country — and we also recognize the military spouses and family members who serve in their own way by supporting them. We’re proud to stand with all of them, today and every day. Read more stories from our team: https://bit.ly/49O9dpz
