I’ve been at Cloudera for 2 years altogether, & I am a ‘boomerang’ employee. I left Cloudera during the pandemic due to personal circumstances. When I reached out to the Recruitment team about coming back, they were so supportive. I was thrilled to return to Cloudera. My role as Proposal Coordinator involves providing support to Sales Teams on proposals (RFPs/RFIs). A typical day involves analysing proposal documents & highlighting key deliverables while ensuring associated documents are completed by the relevant teams. Our team works with SMEs & Sales teams to complete the proposal to the highest standard. I feel lucky to work with such great colleagues around the globe every day. I recently attended Sales Kick Off in Miami, which was a brilliant experience for me. There are so many great benefits such as Unplug Days & ‘Cloudera Cares’, as there are some many great causes to give back to. It’s well advocated with our ERGs & donations employees make to their chosen cause are matched.For anyone considering a career@Cloudera, I would say you are making a great career choice!
Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to spreading generosity and it's growing in popularity around the world. Once again, this year Cloudera offered donation matching to employees who made various charitable contributions. And once again, Clouderans showed just how much of an impact we can make, individually and together. Way to show up and give back, Clouderans.
Clouderans all across the world participated in our annualGlobal Week of Service – a dedicated week where employees are encouraged and given many opportunities to learn about and serve their community. #ClouderaCares isn't just a philosophy, it's something Clouderans are acting upon. This week, many volunteers in Cork partnered with Clean Coasts for a successful beach cleanup. During this event, Clouderan's cleaned up litter on the beaches to protect marine life and learned about marine ecosystems and plastic safety all wile getting in some team bonding! Great work, team!
