Check out the new Glass City Riverwalk Bend Bridge on the cover of Aspire Magazine, the biggest concrete bridge magazine! As part of the Glass City Riverwalk, the new Bend Bridge is helping reshape Toledo’s waterfront, connecting communities with a structure as functional as it is visually striking. Our team provided engineering design for this 303-ft-long pedestrian bridge, which features a continuous cast-in-place concrete slab, seven flowing spans and six sculptural V-shaped piers. Designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind, the bridge includes curved geometry, stainless-steel railings with embedded LED lighting and a glass-seeded concrete deck that gives a nod to Toledo’s rich Glass City history.
We’ve officially broken ground in Penfield, NY! 🚧 Colliers Engineering & Design is thrilled to be working with the Town of Penfield on the rehabilitation of the Clark House, a locally-recognized historic landmark and a new 5,800 s.f. Town Lodge. Located at Shadow Pines, the Event Space takes full advantage of the park views, with windows offering natural light and an exterior patio. The new facility will be available for members of the community to rent for wedding receptions, parties and other gatherings. Our team is proud to have provided the Architecture, Civil/Site, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design and M/E/P Engineering design services. We are excited to help the Town through construction and can’t wait for this addition to be open to the public! #ClarkHouse #PenfieldNY #ShadowPines #Rehabilitation
Award-winning transformation on the Buffalo waterfront!🏆 We’re proud to share that Terminal B at Buffalo’s Outer Harbor has earned the 2025 AIA Rochester Design Award, a powerful recognition of what’s possible when community, creativity and sustainability come together. Our team had a blast representing us at the Buffalo J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge!🌟 This unique event brings together coworkers from across the region to run 3.5 miles side by side, all in the name of camaraderie, community and a little healthy competition. From seasoned runners to first-time participants, it was a great chance to get moving and connect outside the office. #CorporateChallenge
A new connection is taking shape in Ann Arbor, MI! Our team led the feasibility study and full design of a new underpass beneath the MDOT/Amtrak tracks, bringing a long-needed, safe crossing to the Border-to-Border Trail near Barton Nature Area and Bandemer Park. This underpass was constructed during a 48-hour, nonstop operation earlier this month. Using a “cut and cover” method, crews installed a box culvert tunnel during a tightly coordinated rail outage to minimize disruptions on this high-speed rail corridor. We’re proud to have delivered this transformational design in partnership with Wade Trim along with support from OHM Advisors and SMEUSA as our design subconsultants. Check out the incredible timelapse video of the installation.

Events like this help us connect more deeply with one another while honoring the unique backgrounds that make our workplace so vibrant. #CulturalPotluck
