We’re honored to receive a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index for the LGBTQ+ community for the 11th consecutive year. We are proud to share that DuPont was honored by Samsung Electronics with the 2024 Best Partner Award for Innovation! This recognition highlights our work in developing innovative polishing pads for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) in advanced semiconductor fabrication. DuPont’s solutions for CMP, including pads in the Ikonic™ pad family, are enabling effective and consistent polishing of semiconductor wafers at the most advanced technology nodes. These solutions support industry advancement for technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, and data centers. We are honored to announce that along with Discovery Education, we've been named finalists in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Citizens Award for the Best Commitment to Education Category. Together with Discovery Education, we established a multiyear partnership with the Delaware Department of Education to increase middle and high school students’ access to high-quality STEM instructional resources and support the development of career and technical education pathway programs that directly address gaps in STEM careers. We are proud of this collaborative effort and the impact it has had on students in Delaware and beyond.
We have announced our commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. In a letter submitted to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), we shared our intent to set long-term science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets, thereby establishing an end-to-end value chain net-zero target to be verified by SBTi in accordance with SBTi’s Net-Zero Standard. The net-zero goal aligns with the rigorous standards set by SBTi and the Paris Agreement, which aims to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
We are proud that FilmTec™ Nanofiltration membrane portfolio has been named the 2024 Sustainable Technology of the Year! Nanofiltration, a low-energy water purification membrane technology, is helping our world solve numerous goals for sustainable development — from drinking water access and industrial water reuse to lithium extraction, seawater brine recovery, and milk concentration into valuable forms of protein.
