Do you know the origins of #BlackHistoryMonth? • In Sept. 1915, historian Carter G. Woodson and minister Jesse E. Moorland founded the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History (ASNLH). • The group sponsored National Negro History Week in 1926, choosing the second week of February to coincide with Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass’s birthdays. • In the 1960s, Negro History Week became BHM on college campuses as a result of the civil rights movement. • President Gerald Ford officially recognized BHM in 1976. Today, we continue to celebrate Black lives, heritage and history by continuously opening ourselves to further education and listening to Black voices. We encourage our communities to do the same beyond February.
Honoring the past. Embracing the present. Inspiring the future. Join us in celebrating black lives and heritage in recognition of #BlackHistoryMonth.

We are thrilled to share the news that here in the UK we have been recognised as a Top Employer in the UK for the fifth consecutive year! Given the many challenges presented over the last 12 months, we couldn’t be prouder of this achievement. Being certified as a Top Employer showcases our dedication to a better world of work. This year in particular being one where our people have worked hard to stay connected and as a business we have been determined to ensure that the diverse needs within our workforce are accommodated. Our ability to exercise progressive policies, such as greater flexibility and enhanced wellbeing offerings, has been essential for our people to adapt to a very different way of working successfully (as well as the many virtual games of bingo, video walks and virtual cocktail parties!).
