At Intuitive, your path to shaping the future of healthcare often begins as a Clinical Territory Associate (CTA). As a CTA, you’ll spend 24 months learning what it takes to help hospitals and surgeons bring robotic-assisted surgery to more patients. You’ll be in the OR supporting cases, collaborating with sales teams on hospital programs, and helping train surgical staff on leading-edge technology. It’s not a classroom experience—it’s a real-world one. You’ll see firsthand how our systems transform care, while building the skills that define a successful career in the med-tech industry: communication, leadership, and deep clinical insight. For people who thrive on learning, teamwork, and making an impact, this is the role that sets the foundation for a future at Intuitive. Explore CTA careers: https://lnkd.in/e7wwr22K #WeAreIntuitive
"When patients tell me they feel better than they did before surgery, it makes it worth it. It makes the last 15 years of my career, training, and effort in robotic surgical oncology feel like the effort is paying off,” said Dr. Naruhiko Ikoma, a surgical oncologist at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Exploring new technologies and techniques motivated Dr. Ikoma to move his medical career from Japan to the United States and complete a second residency in surgical oncology. In pursuit of this goal, Dr. Ikoma says his first experience with robotic assisted surgery “felt like the future of surgery.” In our surgeon spotlight series, we look at doctors who are invested in transforming healthcare, and their journey along the way. Prakash Gatta, Jennifer Preston, and Albert Tsang. In this session, you'll hear: Dr. Gatta's da Vinci 5 data, including procedure times and Force Feedback technology data Dr. Preston’s use of My Intuitive+ and Case Insights for training residents and fellows Dr. Tsang’s key improvement metrics after one year of surgical experience with da Vinci 5 Whether you missed the live symposium or want to revisit the insights, this replay offers valuable perspectives on how da Vinci 5 is shaping the future of foregut surgery.
Surgeons have always expanded what’s possible. Now, their instruments do too. With a 57% increase in surgical workspace, the new da Vinci SP extended range instruments from Intuitive give surgeons the room to work with greater clarity, reach, and control. Longer forearms and enhanced wrist motion make it easier to navigate complex anatomy, creating smoother, more efficient procedures. The added space helps teams move confidently through demanding cases, reducing strain and maintaining focus when it matters most. For surgeons, it means precision without compromise. For patients, it means smaller incisions, shorter stays, and potentially a faster return to the lives they love. More space. More control. More patients served. That’s Intuitive. Peace of mind starts with answers. For Ion patients like Joanne, who have a family history of lung cancer, getting screened and then having a biopsy with Ion, can make a life-changing difference. With lung cancer remaining the leading cause of cancer death globally*, stories like Joanne’s bring hope—but there’s more work to do. During hashtag#LungCancerAwarenessMonth—and every month—Intuitive remains committed to helping physicians better serve their patients. It’s how we transform lung cancer care, together. That’s Intuitive. hashtag#LCAM hashtag#IonByIntuitive *Cancer Facts and Figures 2025. As with any bronchoscopic procedure under general anesthesia, serious complications may include bleeding, pneumothorax (collapsed lung), cardiac-related complications, respiratory failure, air embolism, or death. For summary of the risks associated with bronchoscopy refer to https://lnkd.in/e7-6FBsr. Behind every Intuitive system is a team obsessed with one thing: making complex technology feel natural to the people who use it. Our Human Factors engineers work where design, psychology, and robotics meet—studying how users interact with our systems and helping turn those insights into reliable and fluid experiences in the OR. It’s work that demands curiosity, precision, and empathy—and it’s changing the future of surgery. Explore Human Factors careers at Intuitive: https://lnkd.in/exdzZqTp #WeAreIntuitive
From Kagoshima, Japan to the world—Asia Connect 2025 marked the first time our flagship hashtag#IntuitiveConnect came to Asia. Surgeons across five markets united to share experience, build connections, and experience Intuitive’s ecosystem in action. It’s a milestone that celebrates one shared vision: transforming surgery and improving patient outcomes, together.
Our SureForm staplers are known for empowering surgeons with complete control, full articulation, and intelligent feedback. The 8 mm SureForm 30 Curved-Tip Stapler was designed to fit all that dependable technology into an 8-millimeter instrument–enabling surgeons to deploy a stapler through the same port size as other da Vinci instruments. When surgeons can deploy a stapler through any available port and position it where the tissue naturally lies, they can reduce tissue tension, preserve surrounding structures, and operate with greater confidence. That level of control demands precision—in every move, every moment. The 8 mm SureForm 30 Curved-Tip Stapler supports that by letting surgeons choose the best angle for the patient. A meaningful innovation, no matter how small (in size), can make a big difference. In time spent doing surgery. Or time spent recovering from it. That’s Intuitive. Throughout October, Intuitive and our Diverse-Abilities Employee Resource Group (ERG) celebrated National Disability Employment Awareness Month, reflecting on the theme: The Future of Work is Well-being. Across teams and regions, we came together to talk about inclusion, access, and what it really means to create a workplace where everyone can contribute and thrive. With the support of the Intuitive Foundation, employees raised more than $144,000 for Breakthrough T1D and NAMIWalks, organizations advancing diabetes research and mental-health advocacy. Thank you to our Diverse-Abilities ERG and everyone who joined this month’s events. Together, we’re continuing to shape a culture of belonging and well-being for everyone. #WeAreIntuitive
