In the last year, Life360 engineers have read three books together: Deep Work, AI Engineering: Building Applications with Foundation Models, and now a book on vibe coding — all chosen by the team, for the team. That's thanks in no small part to Gemini Hsu, who has kept the Engineering Book Club running biweekly for years and makes sure the whole thing stays community-driven. 📚 If that sounds like the kind of place you want to build things, we'd love to meet you 👉 https://lnkd.in/gbeAb9nd
Our very own Kristin Young has been named a ThinkLA Salesperson of the Year finalist — recognized by the LA advertising community for the impact she's making in the industry. We couldn't be prouder to have her representing Life360 Ads. Congrats, Kristin! 🎉
There are a lot of apps that tell you what's happening in the world. Life360 tells you what's happening with the people who are your world. We're building the family super app — the single place families go to stay connected, safe, and together. Q1 gave us every reason to believe we're headed in the right direction: more than 97 million monthly active users worldwide, growing advertising revenue, and new features, like Temporary Location Sharing and Safety Incidents on the Map, that make everyday family life a little better. We're always cooking up new features. One of our latest? Safety Incidents on the map. Now, members in the U.S. can see high-severity events — such as fires, weapon-related incidents, and pursuits — within 1 mile of themselves or their Circle members. The data appears right on the map and shows incidents within the last 6 hours. This is what we’re here to do — give people peace of mind when it comes to the people, pets, and things they love.
The Life360 team doesn't do things halfway. 🏆 Our "I Think of You (Dying)" ad campaign just picked up Best Use of Music at the @AdAge Creativity Awards AND it won two Webby Awards for copywriting and original music. Three awards for one campaign. This team is something else. 🙌 https://adage.com/events-awards/a-list-creativity/aa-creativity-winners-2026/#
In honor of April being Distracted Driving Awareness Month, we analyzed over 135 billion miles of real-world driving data to identify when and where families are most at risk on the road. Here's what we found: 🗓️ Friday edges out every other day for risky driving behavior: 68.6% of Friday trips by Life360 members involve phone distractions. 📍 Miami leads the country in distracted driving (73% of trips involve phone use) AND when adjusted for driving volume, both Miami and Orlando have the highest crash rates in the country — about 40% higher than cities like Los Angeles or San Antonio. 🚗 Teens are the most distracted drivers of any age group (probs not surprising, though) 👴 Grandparents are the safest with the lowest speed and the lowest distraction rates Happy Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Maybe let Grandma take the wheel this weekend. 💜
They didn’t have to, but they did it anyway. Mike Sokol, a designer, made a code change, got it approved, and shipped it into our internal testing environment. First designer on our team to ship code. Deekshit Bonthala Nagendra, a PM, used Claude Code to prototype the Circle creation flow, turning an idea into something tangible and testable without waiting on engineering resources. This is exactly what we mean when we say we’re operating AI natively at Life360 — people expanding what's possible in their roles because the tools now let them. Congrats to Mike and Deekshit for raising the bar at Life360.
2025 was a year where our strategy showed up in the numbers. Subscription excellence. Advertising scale. Product innovation. These are three engines powering our ambition to become the #1 brand that makes everyday family life better. And in 2025, all three accelerated. We reached 95.8 million global monthly active users and generated $489.5 million in annual revenue, up 32% year over year. Record subscriber growth, the launch of Pet GPS, and the acquisitions of Fantix and Nativo expanded both our member and partner ecosystem. As we head into 2026, our foundation is stronger than ever, and our focus is clear: scale responsibly, deepen member value, and continue building the most trusted platform families rely on every day. We’re expanding our collaboration with Uber through a first-of-its-kind integration that lets families link their accounts — including Uber teen accounts — to coordinate rides, track trips in real time, and move through their day with greater peace of mind. Real-time trip tracking, ride booking, membership benefits, and more, all within the Life360 experience, coming later this year. Our collaboration aims to serve the evolving trust, coordination, and mobility needs of modern families and their teens, and we can’t wait for what’s next 🚀
This week, for the first time since closing the Nativo acquisition, our team came together in one room. While we aligned on our vision, plans, and priorities, the heart of our time together is the people. With a mission as personal as ours - keeping people close to the ones they love - moments like this matter. In-person time is the not-so-secret sauce that makes our remote-first culture work. The serendipitous connections between sessions and the shared energy that can only happen when you're in the same room are what really shape how we work, build, and grow together.
