Memorial Health Announces Plans to Construct New, State-of-the-Art Emergency Department. Memorial Health has unveiled plans for a new, state-of-the-art emergency department (ED) on its hospital campus, representing an estimated $56 million investment.
Memorial Health has announced the appointment of Scott Endsley, a finance healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience, as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective October 13, 2025. Chip Hubbs, CEO and President of Memorial, addresses the new CFO appointment, saying, “Memorial is honored to welcome Scott, a seasoned finance executive with over two decades of experience in the healthcare sector, to our Senior Leadership team. Scott has a proven track record of developing and improving financial performance, all while working across organizational structures to identify high-impact initiatives. His extensive experience at Fisher-Titus Health, an independent hospital system like Memorial, will certainly prove valuable to our organization’s future.”

He teamed up with a colleague from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center to present on Pump Integration for Connect Sites, highlighting Memorial’s innovation and impact. Meanwhile, Barb Kerr, MS, BS, CST, took the stage in Florida at the Association of Surgical Technologists’ Annual Conference. She presented the Perioperative Preceptor Course – a training program she developed to help surgical professionals grow into confident preceptors. And, her program is now being shared and adopted by other healthcare systems! Memorial is excited to welcome a new provider to Memorial Damascus Family Medicine! 🥳 Dylan Ekstrand, DO, started seeing patients this week! Dr. Ekstrand knew he was first interested in medicine when he broke his arm at the age of 6 – watching the doctor treat and care for him was the “coolest thing ever.” His philosophy of care is to build relationships with his patients so together, they can navigate health concerns and wellness plans.
