LifeNet Health joined OMC on campus today for a special flag raising in honor of Donate Life Month! OMC works alongside LifeNet Health to facilitate tissue donations to patients in need across Washington. In 2025, donations from OMC helped enhance or save the lives of over 300 people! Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible, and most of all to those whose donated tissue has impacted a life.

Olympic Medical Center has been buzzing with BEE Award honorees lately, and we’re thrilled to announce Tess Buck, patient access specialist, as the latest deserving recipient. The overwhelming consensus from coworkers is that Buck would brush off the notion of having done anything special in her day-to-day work to warrant recognition, but from their point of view, highlighting Buck’s compassionate work ethic is long overdue. Olympic Medical Center honored not one, but three outstanding nurses with the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nursing. OMC proudly honored: 🌼 Oncology nurse Lisa Connoly-Petrisin, RN 🌼 Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics nurse Marie Flanagan, RN 🌼 Emergency department nurse Josh Sund, RN During the Daisy Award presentation, Linkletter Hall in Olympic Memorial Hospital held family, friends and colleagues who came to support the three Daisy Award honorees. They heard the nomination stories that earned the nurses their recognition, all of which highlighted their dedication to compassionate, personal care in the face of health struggles. We're thrilled to share that Terri McGowan, Sequim Primary Care clinic supervisor, was recently honored with the Reserve Patriot Award from the Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Terri was nominated for the award by her staff member, Navy reservist and medical assistant Jacob Doran, and it celebrates Terri's support of our miliary employees. In response to the award, Terri shared, "I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the recognition received with this ESGR Patriot Award. It truly holds great personal significance to me...
