Sartorius closed the first half of the year with a positive trend in sales revenue development. Due to the ongoing high volatility and limited predictability, however, the company is now de-risking its outlook for the second half of the year. "Sartorius met its targets for the first half of the year, and we achieved the intended slight sales revenue growth and robust profitability in the second quarter. As in the first three months, the picture remained exceptionally mixed," said CEO Joachim Kreuzburg. This means that damage such as a heart attack leads to an irreversible loss of these cells. As a result, the heart's ability to pump effectively decreases, which can lead to heart failure.
