At The Pique Lab, we create learning opportunities for you to pick up new skills & bond with your team members meaningfully ๐ Over a fun 5D4N stayover in January, our Motion Graphic Artists imparted some of their animation skills to our Video Editors! ๐ช ๐ญ โThe training was fun to do and easy to follow! Really liked how much we learned about the different aspects of animating throughout the week and how easy it was to keep up since it was face to face. It was also a fun way to bond with the rest of the team since we helped each other understand what was being taught and worked together on a small test exercise at the end of the workshop! ๐โ - Chrissy
Last week, the Singapore Team had our Townhall Meeting to look ahead to some of these growth areas planned for 2023: ๐ฏ Optimising Employee Well-Being: Kickstarting more regular initiatives such as Wellness Wednesdays & Fruity Fridays for our team members to develop a greater sense of self & bonding within the team. ๐ฏ Optimising Employee Professional Development: Developing more insightful competency matrices & increasing 1-1 check-ins to ensure that our team members receive the support & guidance they need to grow professionally. Weโre excited to create an even more meaningful work experience for our team members this year! โบ๏ธ
A staple of The Pique Labโs socials is a year-end getaway from Singapore ๐งณ After a 2-year hiatus, The Pique Lab team finally resumed our yearly overseas retreat & headed to Melaka this year ๐ฒ๐พ While we got to spend more time with team members weโre familiar with, we sat with new table mates & enjoyed different cuisines every meal ๐ฝ Each meal was a rare opportunity for us to get to know colleagues from other teams we knew from a distance โ but rarely interact with on a day-to-day basis. But these planned interactions led to spontaneous karaoke sessions ๐ค , games ๐พ, drinks ๐พ & laughter ๐ฅ that weโll look back on fondly. 2022 has been a year of working tirelessly & overcoming adversities together. Weโre thankful for the opportunity to step away from our work, rest & forge even deeper connections โ while celebrating the company & people weโve become.
