Shift work, not much flexibility

the team leaders are super accommodating and willing to help me get slots despite the agent rejecting my shift

- when doing my job, the retail assistant are all super rude and a dog towards me. i dont get it im just trying to do my job, if you guys care so much why not you do my job for me since im affecting you - when i first started, all the full timer grocery pickers are all super backstabber and will complain about me to the team leaders. its like as if you havent been in my position before, im new to this job obviously i will be unsure, slow and make mistakes.

Great if you wanna hussle during the CNY period, lots of OT. Very nice co workers

Seriously lack of manpower, manager tell us our shift one day before each day.

Collegues (not all) are friendly and helpful

- POS can be improved to include fruit and vegetable options (like Sheng siong) instead of manual tracking of prices before every shift. Need to print out new price tags which means you have to come way earlier before your start time - 6 days work week with rotating working hours (5 timings available: 7-3, 9-5, 10-6, 2-10, 3-11) and irregular meal timings. Rest day has to be a weekday and pay is fixed at $13 even on weekends and holidays. - need to face unpleasant customers

Honestly, the management is too rigid and too many rules enforced, feels very suffocating as a part-timer.
