Does Novartis offer massages?
Pros
Free office bus, working hours 11-5pm, no timelines, free biscuits, coffee/tea and sometimes food, unlimited sick leave, creche with reasonable fees, 100 dollars aka spark points every year ofcourse taxable, free coursera courses but no where to discuss the learnings, free coffee and tea if machine is working, sleeping room, free gym, omg how can I foget 6 months paternity leave, too good place to settle down for middle aged folks
Cons
Line managers don't know the IC responsibilties, IJP exists but a lot of times it's a trap, too many managers line manager, functional manager, portfolio manager (sometimes 2 even if you're more lucky lol) and they themselves are never aligned as each ones objectives are different and they focus on their growth not IC growth, service based promotions not talent/skill based, butter line managers and share their mundane work like sending team invites or do ppt slides for them you'll be on radar for promotion, you can't escape lovely office politics, single digit hike sometimes less than 5 percent even you're extraordinary
Advice to Management
Please don't give false hopes on IJP and conduct interviews and at the end don't come back and tell the role doesn't exist. All managers should be role models but line managers don't know what IC is doing. This workplace is definitely not high performance place as the goal post keeps on changing. Please give priority to the talent not service. Scrap line management it's a redundant role atleast in this part of the world.

Does Novartis offer dental insurance?
Pros
Solid perks: Health Insurance, dental Insurance, 12% Pension Contribution, Yearly Bonus, WFH Work life balance is good, holidays are good, salary is good. It's all you want in a company minus the office location + lack of interaction with people.
Cons
You build very little relationships,. No team bonding other than maybe a monthly chat call...and near absolute zero put into team bonding events. Takes at least a year to understand how the systems work and even then it's extremely excessive in all aspects of daily work life.
Advice to Management
Spend something on letting teams get to know each other. Online events are plentiful, pay a company to come in and do cooking or cocktail making. Run a quiz, etc..

Good benefits, annual leave, pension, car allowance, Global leadership has a good philosophy that needs to trickle down to the rest of the organization
Cons
Some managers play favorite and this affects growth prospects. HR in my station was not supportive of the associates
Advice to Management
Put in place better structures on Reward and Recognition in place and talent development to avoid the effect of favoritism or unfair compensation schemes based only n HRs input. Yuo are losing a lot of good talent.
