I applied online. I had a phone screen with someone and he said he was concerned that my apps only had a "few screens." He said that he would have me go over the existing company applications with another developer and tell him how I would go about things / how to improve the app. I told him I don't do free consulting (after all, people get paid to do that) and he hung up a second later.
