Interview
The interview process was fast and everyone in the interview panel was kind. It was overall a very smooth experience with one initial zoom screening, a technical screen, and a virtual on-site interview that consisted of 2 technical interviews and an interview with the CTO.
I interviewed at 1stDibs.com (New York, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
I was contacted by recruiter to interview for backend engineer. I had technical round on collabedit along with rapid fire round of Java concepts questions. I was able to solve the string manipulation question fairly in time. Asked few questions on roles. After clearing was invited onsite for 4 more rounds. Onsite rounds have to be coded on IDE in the interviewer's computer. However, after 3 rounds they decided I am not right fit and did not do the fourth round. I was under impression I did fairly well in onsite and was surprised when asked to leave early.
