I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 25Friday in Jun 2024
Interview
A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn saying they're "trully impressed about your professional experience and technical skills". In this first message they came across as a bit cheesy yet quite transparent about the budget for the position, the benefits, and the contract type. Even though in terms of salary it wasn't exactly what I wanted, I decided to schedule a first phone interview. The recruiter was very respectful and friendly, overall. They asked me general questions about my career and technologies. However, they ghosted me after this first interview, and that's unforgivable. When I decided to ask them about the process one month later, they told me their client (who never interviewed me) wanted a more experienced professional. They apologized for the ghosting citing some technical issue as an excuse, but have I said already it's unforgivable?
