I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Brooklyn, NY) in Jul 2018
Interview
First, I had a phone interview with the recruiter. It went well and they scheduled me for an in-person interview in Brooklyn. The recruiter said they had a parking garage below their office. When I got there, it was a parking garage that charges $18 an hour. I was unaware, but I had no choice to pay. When I got to the office, I realized how small it is and how unexciting it looked. Very poor compared to other companies and their offices. While I was waiting for the VP of sales, I spoke with one of the sales rep about working at ADP. I did not get an exciting response. That was my first red flag. When I went into the VP's office, I realized how small his office is. A small NYC shoebox apartment was bigger than his office. Maybe he didn't need a big office or whatever the case is. Still, it shows a lot about how ADP treats their employees. The interview was the typical interview. I was very nervous and I felt a disconnect with the VP. I could have done better. At the end of the interview, the VP said he was gonna push to the next round and meet three managers. I was surprised and happy to hear it. A couple of days later, the recruiter reached out to me saying I was not selected to move onto the next round. I was confused so I reach out to both the VP and recruiter, but had no response. I would've appreicated at least a response, instead of being ghosted. I didn't even get a response about a reimbursment for parking. Looking back, I am happy I did get rejected. I would've hated going to work in that office.

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at ADP (Irvine, CA) in May 2025
Interview
The qualifying call is standard, and then they want you to attend an in-person meeting with around 5 reps and shadow if you move on to the next round. Great experience, and everyone was really nice!

Question 1
One of the things they asked is to tell them something you could teach them to see if you're able to sell it to them.
Smooth and engaging. The interviewer was pleasant and very knowledgeable about the industry. It seems like the atmosphere at the company is very healthy.
Overall, it was a good experience and very professional.

Question 1
Why do you desire a sales role, especially one with lots of cold calling?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Kendall, FL) in Jul 2024
Interview
intense and brutal for no reason. The first round of interviews is a 30 minute conversation with the recruiter. The second round interview will be with the vice president and some of the sales manager. They were 45 minutes late to my interview, only for me to find out that I was never on their schedule. So the people that I prepared to interview with from the email were not the ones who interviewed me. Extremely unprofessional and unprepared third rounds of interview, you will be on the field with a sales consultant for the first four hours, uncompensated. You will visit some of their accounts with them and then come back to the headquarters to do an hour and a half interview with the vice president and some of the sales managers. Then they will conduct a role-play with you. Don’t sweat it, they understand that this is an entry-level job and you have no prior experience. my best tip is to be prepared to have pushback. The point is not to close the deal but to ask the right questions. Strongly advise to be prepared and do not read off of a paper, only bring your questions. after my interview, they told me that they would get back to me by The next day with their decision. It took them two weeks to email me their decision after a week of chasing them down for an answer. Extremely unprofessional and so disappointed by this company. The other reviews on glassdoor really matched up to the vibe of the office.
