I was interviewed by HR and the Head of Department, and it was one of the worst interview experiences I’ve had.
The Head of Department seemed unclear about the role’s daily responsibilities and couldn’t provide concrete answers. When I asked about weekly reports, the answer was simply that there are “many reports” and the system can generate anything. Even after I repeated the question, the response remained the same. When I asked about category ownership, the answer was vague (“maybe here and there”).
Most of the responses throughout the interview lacked clarity. When I showed uncertainty, she raised her voice and reacted defensively, accusing candidates of treating the company as a stepping stone and directly telling me I would not be shortlisted.
I remained professional, but the overall experience reflected poor communication, lack of direction, and unprofessional behavior. Despite her long tenure, there was no clear explanation of the role, and it left me feeling it would be difficult to work under such management.
