      Citrix Engineer Interview

      29 May 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ActioNet in Oct 2010

      Interview

The interview process started with an initial phone screening between me and two very senior engineers on the team for which I was being considered; my manager and another Citrix engineer. The phone screening went very well. It was a relaxed conversation that was structured enough for them to gain knowledge of me, be informal enough to make me feel comfortable and not nervous. There was a little joking around during the call. The questions started with basic administration questions and ramped up to very difficult technical questions. After the phone screening process I was brought in to do a face to face interview. I was told that the face to face was basically to see the person behind the phone and that my phone screening was plenty enough to decide to hire me. An offer was made within about a day and I accepted happily.
