Adatis Azure Data Engineer interview questions

I applied via Linkedin I believe and had an initial call with their HR team who then progressed me to the next stage which was a telephone interview with a principal consultant. I asked for as much information in advance and was told it was going to be an all-round interview. However as I dial in, I was asked nothing but technical questions, Azure and SQL based. Many of the questions were around SQL functions which I have used of course, but haven't memorised exact definitions and hadn't used in a long time. In a nutshell, the interview was a bit of a shock and I definitely could have performed better if I was informed better as I spent a lot of time working on my strengths and SJT answers. After explaining to the recruiter how blindsided I was they were willing to see if the lead technical would consider giving me another shot but I later realised that their salary bands were pretty poor and so I just thanked them for their time and moved on. On the whole, a not good experience and poor salary offering.
