I applied online. I interviewed at Aegis Living in Apr 2021
Interview
I had a phone interview with the recruiter, it was super casual and she was really enthusiastic. I then had another call with her to determine my availability and location. Then I met with the head care coordinator of the facility and had an "interview" but I basically had the job before walking in due to staffing issues.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aegis Living (Ventura, CA) in Feb 2010
Interview
The initial process was very easy. I walked in and filled out an application. About 2 weeks later over the phone they scheduled a group interview. When we got there (about 12 other people) we were escorted to a more private room. They were very prepared and had everything ready when we walked in. We were interviewed by our Resident Services Director and the Care Manager's Supervisor. They were both extremely friendly and down to earth and professional. About a week after that I had an individual interview with the Resident Services Director and the Nurse. It was condensed and very brief, maybe 20 minutes. It is a very busy environment and you are exposed to that whenever you are in the building, which is a nice preview of your day to day work flow. In this field you can't stop emergencies for an interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The hardest question was, "What are your three best and three worst qualities?" It is a very common interview question but can be difficult to navigate through without sounding full of yourself or the opposite and sounding like a bad candidate. Easier questions included scenarios with residents and reasons for coming into this field.
I applied online. I interviewed at Aegis Living (Redmond, WA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Quick interview process. Easy questions. Bring your resume and two forms of ID. Be prepared to get TB test and COVID-19 tests as soon as possible. Paperwork isn’t electronic. So be prepared to manually fill out forms after forms. Not too bad though.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aegis Living (West Seattle, WA) in Aug 2019
Interview
The interview was relaxed and more of a conversation between myself and the Director. My previous experience guided me towards my answers. The interviewer was optimistic about my future learning as it was something relatively new which helped ease any nerves.
