The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Worcester, MA) in Jun 2009
Interview
There are a few one-on-one interviews you get hired by Alfac. First, they usually try to recruit you through by phone or email. Aflac will hire anyone so they try to set up as many interviews as possible. The first one-on-one interview is basically a district manager giving you a sales pitch on why Aflac is such a great company and how much money you can make. They try to sell it to you more than you try to sell yourself to them. After that they will offer you a second interview. During this one you sign a contract with aflac and they tell you what to do to prepare for the insurance tests.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you feel about unlimited earning potential?
It was a very odd process. They conduct their interviews in groups which I’ve never seen before. Honestly they seem desperate to me which I did not like. It is also all commissioned based with no salary. Very awkward to ask questions since it’s done in a group.
Met with district regional manager, in person interview, business professional attire. typical interview questions (i.e. strengths, weaknesses, how do you communicate with people, etc). Overall, not difficult and this was for an internship.
sat with multiple people going through the process. It was just the info session, but it was informative. invited to go through another round of interviews, but did not proceed.
