I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aflac (Detroit, MI) in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview was a presentation of what Aflac has to offer it's customers and how much money you can potentially make. I have not decided if I will take the position yet.
It was a very odd process. They conduct their interviews in groups which I’ve never seen before. Honestly they seem desperate to me which I did not like. It is also all commissioned based with no salary. Very awkward to ask questions since it’s done in a group.
Met with district regional manager, in person interview, business professional attire. typical interview questions (i.e. strengths, weaknesses, how do you communicate with people, etc). Overall, not difficult and this was for an internship.
sat with multiple people going through the process. It was just the info session, but it was informative. invited to go through another round of interviews, but did not proceed.
