I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Agency for Integrated Care in Mar 2026
Interview
Was shocked facing against a panel of 4 people in the first round. There's a total of 2 rounds. During the interview I was quite confused as there's no clear expectations of my exact job responsibilities / working location. Should take note that there's definitely more workload compared to the job description u see posted online.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Agency for Integrated Care in Jan 2023
Interview
Applied online. Was contacted for a face-to-face interview for 2 different departments shortly. Prior to the interview I was asked to prepare a case study report and presentation. The interview was ok. Questions were manageable, there were multiple questions about how I handle last minute changes. The 2 teams kept emphasizing that last minute changes are very common and the candidate must be able to handle the stress. I asked about work life balance and they did not seem to enjoy that in their departments. Ended the interview with no presentation or discussion about the case study. Got a call from the HR shortly after (less than a week) and was informed that both teams were keen for me to join and asked which team I was more interested in. Expressed my interested and asked more questions regarding the role but everything went downhill from here. 1. The HR was unable to give me an amount for the salary. She told me I needed to accept the position first before she could let me know the confirmed package. (She gave a rough range but emphasized repeatedly then she "cannot promise this pay" and it is subjected to approval) She also highlighted that there is not much room for nego since they are a non-profit org, which is understandable. 2. She told me I could choose either the Senior Exec or AM position, and said the pros of choosing Snr Exec will be lower expectations, faster promotion etc. I clarified whether this is up to the management to decide or is it really up to me and she said it is my choice. I told her I will go with AM. Few days later she called to say they can only offer me the Snr Exec position. 3. As I was deciding between this and another offer of higher pay, I asked through email whether there is room for negotiation as I was more interested in this position. Received a blunt reply saying thank you for applying for the position and we wish you the best. Had to call to clarify that I am not rejecting the offer. The HR said she misunderstood my email. 4. Decided to accept this offer eventually as it is more in line with my career goals. HR proceeded to send out the email to my ex-manager for a background check and while my ex-manager was preparing the document, HR emailed me to say the position is no longer available due to an internal transfer.
