I applied through university. I interviewed at Agillitics (Knoxville, TN)
Interview
Interview was casual, following a graduate school recruitment fair. We had a great discussion about upcoming projects and what the company did, and they said that my qualifications would be a great fit and I'd be hearing back in 1.5-2 weeks. Never heard back. Followed up, got ignored. Very unprofessional.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Agillitics
Interview
The president reached out to me via LinkedIn to learn about my experience and scheduled an in-person interview at Agillitics headquarters. After this interview followed the technical interview to test data skills. The technical interview consisted of using a sample set of transportation data and constructing SQL statements of varying difficulties to produce the desired outputs.
The meetings were spaced about a week apart but communication was timely and consistent. I was not extended an offer because my data skills were not within the requirements of the company. Overall, it was a good interview experience and I had a chance to learn more about their past projects and the consulting practice.
