I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at All Community Events in May 2025
Interview
Sketchy! Please Read:
I applied normally and got a follow-up email. Then it went downhill fast: a sketchy Google Doc questionnaire, followed by a vague email linking to an unlisted YouTube video where the founder basically negged applicants and told us to DM the company’s Instagram with a mini essay.
That’s not just unconventional. It’s unprofessional.
You already have my resume and cover letter, along with the big questionnaire you had me do. If you want my socials, ask. This extra hoop-jumping feels like a test to see who’s desperate enough to comply. If this isn’t a scam, it’s a mess.
If you’re too busy to run a proper hiring process, hire someone who can. Influencer-style videos and Instagram assignments don’t build trust. They just push serious candidates away.
Hiring goes both ways. Based on this experience, I’m out.
I know the Marcus Sheridan and MBA crowd is big on these kinds of videos right now,

Question 1
Interview Questions? Just a questionnaire and This Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksJlav5ZnlQ
Then I dipped...
Instead of actual questions, I got a 5-minute unlisted YouTube video. It's recycled info from the job post, a heavily cut walk-through of the office featuring some poor sap being prompted to participate like the boss just sprung it on him, and an awkward wave. Add in some light negging for good measure. I get the self-selection angle, but this felt more like a red flag parade.
The video had a call to action prompting you to engage with them on Instagram. Again... just ask for socials and writing samples. When you are small, I know it's fun, but this is just so unprofessional.
If the video is now private, take the hint. If it’s still up, watch and decide if this feels legit to you.
If they’ve updated their process, then disregard.
I was Sent an email with an extensive questionnaire for when I was available for interview and never heard back. Very Unprofessional organization with bad communication practice sin the interview process.

Have you ever walked into a car dealership and were immediately approached by a sketchy car salesman and the entire time he was talking you were pretty sure at least 80% of it was BS?...thats what being interviewed at this company is like.

Mostly you look at drawings/designs of an event and say what is wrong with it, how you would solve a specific problem, or how you would improve the overall event/design.
