I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Colonial Heights, VA) in Jun 2012
Interview
phone interview, in person , drug and back ground screening very short and to the point they may ask you different scenarios and how you were to handle them most stuff is common sense. if you have prior management experience you may be eligible to go to an amazon "tier 3" which basically meany your the area managers right hand but you don't get paid management money.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Bathgate, Scotland)
Interview
No interview process, went in and had the job essentially. No dress code just documentation to take to get set up on system. All welcoming and friendly though, very informal
The entire online process feels relentlessly exhausting and painfully tedious. Every step leads to another obstacle, another delay, another unnecessary complication. Instead of progress, it feels like moving through an endless maze of barriers, friction, confusion, and constant interruptions.
Agency, little contact, limited information, told never allowed to say no. Even if they are braking the rules, they dont like people pointing out issues, as because if they record them thats when they can get in trouble for it.
