I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Sydney) in May 2017
Interview
It was 2 phone and 5 on-site interview. The first one was technical. Second one was about behavioral. Then they called me for on-site, It was 5 back to back interviews. Interviewers typed my sentences and it was stressful. The onsite interview was from Seattle America. I was shocked for that. The technical questions I do not remember but I know they were very difficult.
The interview was smooth. Recruiter reached out with an invitation to an online assessment, then a phone interview 1 hour and interview loop scheduled after that. It had 4 rounds

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Ashburn, VA) in Sept 2025
Interview
There were 4 interview phases. The first one was personality based and generic, the following were all technical with different individuals. It was a standard interview but I’d say you get brownie points for knowing their leadership principles.
