I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dubai) in Mar 2019
Interview
Pretty straightforward;
step1: Online coding test with two questions. (leetcode medium difficulty)
step2: On the phone 1hour interview: 15 -30 minutes on past experience (explain your most proud technical project, etc), 30 - 45 minutes on live coding.
Now the live coding exercise that i got was HARD. The same question was on LeetCode and it was HARD problem type. I probably did not prepare enough but it was a tough question for me and I needed help/hints constantly.

Unit tests must pass to pass the second question. You can run both backend/frontend indivdually or together
