Applied online. I get a phone call from recruiter and asks me if I had a minute. It ended up being 20 minutes. They asked me to give them some time slots to talk to the hiring manager. They don't confirm with me, just with the hiring manager and the hiring manager calls me but I had no idea I was scheduled to talk to him. I then have another interview with another SFA but she doesn't really know anything about the position. I had another interview 2 weeks later and finally I have the panel "on site" interviews. A full day of just interviews. I thought I did well, but apparently the hiring manager didn't like me. Overall very confusing process and terrible communication.

Question 1
Tell me about a time. Probably around 15 questions that started like that. Answered in STAR method
One HR screening, Phone screening, Loop interview with 5 People, Team matching interview. The loop interview was tiring since it was 45mins per interview, and you would have to provide examples for LPs.

Tell me about a time where you presented Invent Simplify. Tell me about a time where you showed Deep Dive.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Apr 2026
Interview
Generally conversational and asking about your resume and experience. After the assessment link is sent to you via HR, they can invite you for a phone screen. This phone screen generally lasts an hour.
They asked a lot of behavioral questions and it seemed like SQL/Data Analysis was heavily required. Would definitely recommend prepping all the common behavioral question. Also its important to know the core principles of Amazon
