I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Ciudad de Mexico) in Jun 2014
Interview
Got recruited by Amazon at my university and was scheduled for an online screening, I was given a list of topics regarding computer science that will be covered on the interview, sorting algorithms, order of complexity, object oriented stuff, and web services, during the interview I had to answer some questions and video record my answers which is weird the first time, it got me a little nervous because I hadn't done it before, so if you have this type of interview, get in a close room, quiet and with good lighting.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first question is LeetCode style algorithms question, and the second question gives a full stack repo (choice of Java, NodeJS, or Django) and asks to solve a backend issue which is causing a bug in the frontend. Unit tests must pass to pass the second question. You can run both backend/frontend indivdually or together
