I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2016
Interview
Exactly what is described on all forums. Applied in Dec. 2015 and did my video interview Jan. 27 then was asked to attend a f2f in mid March 2016. The process is easy and all the candidates are in the same boat as you so your nerves definitely calm down once you enter the headquarters. My advice is to wear the nicest suit you can find and definitely make sure your hair and makeup are on point, Like others suggested be yourself and smile a lot!!

Question 1
Made it to the face to face in Dallas where I was asked to do fingerprinting, drug test and one on one. Recruiters were all friendly and felt really good about my interview. My flight home was around 7pm but got delayed for an hour. Then boarded plane and sat on tarmac for 45 min, as we were getting ready to leave pilots came on PA and announced they timed out so we had to go back to the gate. This flight was overbooked and all the angry passengers stormed the gate agents only to be told the flight was canceled and would be rebooked the next day. As I sat and observed, I realized there were many flights that also got canceled with a lot of angry people. The gate agents informed us that there were only a handful of hotel rooms available, so more angry people who had to sleep in the airport that night. Please make sure this a job you truly want because this is the reality of the position. Needless to say I also slept in the airport and thought this is definitely being able to adapt and turn a negative into a positive. Didn't make it home until 30 something hours later still dressed in my business attire and no toothbrush. Future candidates...consider bringing a change of clothes and a toothbrush. Once I got home, I thought "this is what I signed up for" and I'm ready for the challenge only to receive a TBNT 3 days later. FYI...fingerprinting, drug test and one on one interview does not mean you got the job. Good Luck!!!
