I got a call recruiter and they asked question such as why I am interested in Amgen, where do I see myself in 5 years, salary expectations and some questions i know the techniques listed in the job posting

Received a phone screening from recruiter and notified that the hiring manager would have a video interview for me. After a couple of days, another HR or recruiter called me and ask about my expected salary range and current situation. I thought this call should be happened before we firmed up a video interview. So, I was confused since I couldn't understand which process I was in. A week later, I took interviewed with the hiring manager. The manager was a scientist and bragged that the manager was a global marketing director or something but it seemed that this person was not familiar with science at least. It was a very ambiguous interview.
