I applied online. I interviewed at Analytica in Nov 2025
Interview
Interviewed with Analytica in November 2025 for a role supporting a potential DHS/USCIS contract opportunity.
The recruiter was professional and transparent that the position was contingent on contract award rather than an immediately funded opening. The process involved multiple interview rounds plus a personality/cognitive assessment before any award decision had been made.
For candidates actively seeking immediate employment, it’s important to clarify whether a role is currently funded, the anticipated hiring timeline, and whether the interview process is tied to a proposal effort or contingent opportunity.
I ultimately withdrew from consideration because I decided to focus on active, funded positions with defined timelines.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked a lot about experience supporting federal/government consulting environments and how I would operate in a client-facing role. There were also questions around stakeholder communication, Agile delivery, and navigating complex program environments. Later in the process, they required a personality/cognitive assessment as part of the evaluation.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Analytica (Bethesda, MD) in Aug 2025
Interview
They had my potential subordinates interview me, and those kids had the worst interview skills. HR was very professional, but once you step through the proverbial door, it's apparent what the culture is in-office; based on the interviewers' immature behavior, I am not at all surprised to see low scores for this firm here. (I should've checked reviews here before agreeing to apply to this after HR asked me to on LinkedIn.)
I removed my application from consideration; would never consider this place after the interview experience.
If the subordinates knew enough of what is needed for their director, then why even hire a director? A more senior person should be interviewing directors. Their highly flawed interview process suggests a highly flawed company. I just could not believe how unprofessional and condescending their staff was out the gate, especially considering the very professional nature of their HR and receuitment staff. I left the interview just shocked at how I was treated. I've never had a more unprofessional interview experience. I couldn't help shaking my head and I hope this company addresses their culture issues. I've never, ever been treated so abrasively during the interview process.
