Pre screen and second interview. Questions in second interview were entirely about business tactics no technical knowledge required. High priority placed on being willing to work long hours and grind set attitudes. Good that they are honest about this expectation in during the interview process

I had a screening call scheduled through a recruiter. We discussed my background and motivations for moving into a new role. I explained how my experience could contribute to the business while also supporting my professional growth. During the discussion, it seemed that the company gives more importance to business priorities and little to no support on individual professional development. I also felt there was an expectation for candidates to have detailed knowledge of the company at this early stage of the process. I was told that I will receive a call on the next steps, I did not receive any further communication regarding next steps. Overall, the experience left a somewhat disappointing impression of the company’s approach to candidate engagement and development.
