Initial job posting was done on Monster. The first contact was a phone preliminary interview. They ascertained my KSA's in a cursory manner - just to ensure that it would be mutually worth our while for me to come in for an interview. The first physical interview was at their office in Riverside, CA. A very professional looking environment, buzzing with activity and very fast-paced. The interview, though, was very relaxed and non-threatening (in how some interviews. people, and/or locations tend to be intimidating). The discussion was primarily kept to professional topics - experience, etc. The people who interviewed me we professional, cordial, and to the point. About three days after the interview I received an invitation for a another interview. The second interview was in the same location, and also very relaxed. Only one of the previous interviewers was at this one. The conversation was more relaxed as well, and we did a lot more "small talk" this time around. The corporate culture seemed to be one of everyone working together and closely involved. During the interview, three or four people rotated in and out of the conversation. This was one of the longest interviews I'd ever done - it lasted over 2 1/2 hours. I was offered the position immediately after the last person in the rotation completed their "statement" - it wasn't even a line of questioning. I've been very happy at this company, however, and most unfortunately, they are leaving the state of California - something I am not ready to do at this time. So, I'm back to looking for work after only four years.
